Green peas are rich in fiber, exactly what we need in our diet in spring!☀️
Ingredients:
- 500g of frozen or fresh green peas
- 1 large potato
- 1 tbsp of frying oil
- 1/2 tsp of asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp of spices for taste
- 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
- 1 bunch of fresh greens
- 2 tbsp of unrefined oil
How to cook:
- Boil 1 liter of water;
- Separate the greens into stems and leaves: finely chop the stems, leave the leaves;
- Dice the potato;
- Fry spices in a small amount of oil;
- Add potatoes and fry for 1-2 minutes;
- Add peas and chopped stems, cover with a lid;
- When the vegetables start to emit moisture, pour boiling water (for a thick soup, level with the vegetables; for a liquid soup, a finger above the vegetables);
- Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes, until the potatoes are soft;
- Season with salt, remove from heat;
- Puree with a blender, adding unrefined oil, and season with black pepper;
